Shoe is a thing that can make many people attracted to someone furthermore it is branded, exclusive, beautiful and unique. Every woman want to have it for look gorgeous in a ceremony. There's a lot of shoe designer in the world but not all of them got the tittle of the world, known in every country as Datuk Jimmy Choo. Datuk Jimmy Choo was born on 1981 in Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. His father had a business in repairing shoe and handmade shoe design. When Datuk Jimmy Choo was a kid, he always lend a hand to his father repairing shoes or making some shoes. When he is 11 years old, his made his own shoe. He ask his father to sent him to London to futher his studies in Fashion course. In the First Semester, his father paid all his cost but for the last 3 years, he start to work part-time as a cleaner in a restaurant and shoe factory to afford his life. After graduated, he start to open his own shoe shop by renting an old hospital. But, his business was so bad. A few years later, he work harder until he get into the 'Vogue Magazine', a famous fashion magazine in UK but his business is still the same. Four years later, Princess Diana attracted to his shoe design and she bought it in 1990. She began to love Choo's designs and that make him known in the world. In 1996, he established Jimmy Choo Ltd with Tamora Mellon , the Vogue British editor. Now, Datuk Jimmy Choo's brand has related with style, naturalism, unique, exclusive and admired by everyone all over the world. A pair of shoe sold around thousand dollars. His artist customers are Natalie Imbruglia and Katie Holmes. His shoes also appeared in a few famous movies including 'The Devils Wear Prada' wears by Meryl Streep and Cameron Diaz in 'In Her Shoes'. He become a really successful man now and given the tittle 'Datuk', 'Professor' and became the first Malaysians that got the 'Order Of The British Empire' award by Queen Elizabeth II in 2002. |
